CHICKEN SALTIMBOCCA*

Hannah's Chicken Saltimbocca is my go-to menu item. The tender airline chicken is accompanied by the most delicious brown butter sauce. The crispy sage leaves and bacon wrap contribute to the complex flavors in this dish. Accompanying are plump and tasty gnocchi and rounds of roasted butternut squash. Sometimes I order an additional side of the gnocchi because it is just that good! This dish seriously saved my soul when everything was shut down during the first pandemic wave. It came beautifully packaged and piping hot when we would pick it up from the restaurant. I almost cried because I could get such an amazing meal during such a stressful time!

CHICKEN SALTIMBOCCA*

I have had multiple dinner items at Hannah's, and every single one is executed perfectly, but I tend to crave the Chicken Saltimbocca the most. The chicken is moist and perfectly cooked and the prosciutto is crispy and adds amazing flavor. The gnocchi is slightly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, as it should be. And that brown butter sauce is rich and flavorful. The only issue I had this last time I ordered the dish was there were only two small pieces of the butternut squash, which is a bummer because it's so good! Hannah's has easily become my favorite restaurant in Denton! Keep up the great work, staff and chefs!

ROSEMARY SMOKED DUCK BREAST

This is one of my favorite entrees on the menu! The duck itself is extremely flavorful and tender. One of the treats are the vegetable pancakes. Excellent flavors and pairings throughout the entire meal!

ROSEMARY SMOKED DUCK BREAST

The duck was tender with subtle umami flavors, carefully placed and resting atop the vegetable pancakes. Undoubtedly, the sides stole the show. Freshly toasted rosemary and red peppers are mixed into the savory pancakes and accompanied with tender, chipotle lime-infused candied cherries. I paired the duck with a vibrant Syrah and ended the night with a generous slice of key lime pie. The key lime pie filling has a good balance between tart and sweet flavors and was beautifully decorated with fruits and cream. I do think I said about the pie, "there's a party on my plate."

BUILD YOUR OWN CHEESEBOARD* (CHOOSE FIVE)

Beautiful presentation, paired nicely with red wine. Mustard sauce and apricot jam were incredible, especially with the brie and herb crackers. We splurged for the upgrades to include the pretzel bread, burrata, and summer sausage, and it was so worth it. Decadent and delightful, best during happy hour or as a starter for dinner.

ROSEMARY SMOKED DUCK BREAST

The rosemary smoked duck breast on whole grain pancakes with a maple chipotle glaze was absolutely incredible. Worth every penny. Had never tried duck before and it's safe to say I am now a fan!

"OFF THE SQUARE" AU POIVRE TENDERLOIN (10 OZ.) GRASS-FED*

My fiancee and I went to Hannah's a couple of weeks ago to celebrate our 10th anniversary of being a couple. It was only appropriate to go to Hannah's to commemorate such an occasion. It was St. Patrick's Day, so I made sure to make a reservation a week in advanced just to be sure that we would be seated. Walking in, my first impression was of cozy casual openess and complimented with a polite and aware staff. Our waitress was Sierra, a lovely young woman who was aware of my blindness and did not give me a menu, or talk to me in the third person, all of which I appreciated greatly. For dinner we started with the margherita flatbread, which was very crunchy and delicious. The maine I chose was the "Off The Square" peppered tenderloin, which I paired with a glass of Cotes du Rhone GSM blend. Needless to say that the earthiness of both the tenderloin and the wine were complimentary. My favorite sides were the brandied pepper from my dish and the cherries from my signiticant other's smoked duck. Dessert was a tantalizing, understated Creme Brulee. We nery much enjoyed our celebration at Hannah's and are looking forward to future ones to be held. One last thing, I really enjoyed the oversized comfortable chairs.

French 75

I am not sure who the bartender is, but they make one of the best French 75 cocktails I have ever had. It is hard to get that cocktail recipe just right, but they succeeded in perfecting it!

FRIED GREEN TOMATOES*

If you want to be happy after you eat something at Hanna's in Denton TX, eat the fried green tomatoes. Soooooo good. Its tasty AND filling! Throw in some wine, a friend and laughter, you got you something right there son. Yessir!
